The Perfect Balance Doesn’t Exist, But Striving For It Is The Key

We are constantly indoctrinated with the idea that, with enough effort and work, we can create perfect yet elusive “balance” in our lives. And when we do as women, we will be complete. We will have left behind our stress and all our worries. Life will not be so challenging.

The truth is, the perfect balance doesn’t exist - but as we strive for balance, we can achieve a few better things - calm, peace, alignment with our feminine energy, joy, and harmony in our lives and in our souls.

So how do we achieve balance? We stop trying to achieve and instead soften and flow with our feminine energy.

1. Reassess and Check in With Yourself

Balance is not about consistently “optimizing” your life or trying to be more “productive” and get more done, but it’s about reassessing your life and constantly checking in with yourself.

  • How do I feel?

  • Do I have what I need?

  • Do I feel fulfilled?

  • Do I feel like I’m lacking something?

  • Do I believe I’m worthy?

Checking in with ourselves allows us to examine our lives and see or notice what doesn’t align.

2. Focus on Alignment

Instead of balance, focus on alignment.

  • Living aligned with your true/highest self.

  • Living aligned with your feminine rhythms and needs.

  • Living in alignment with your values.

  • Creating quality time with yourself and those important to you.

You will notice imbalances in your life through power leaks - where you feel your life force energy being drained - and a lack of joy.

3. Heal Your Wounds and Trauma

Balance and alignment reveal themselves as contentment in our lives when we are experiencing a regulated nervous system. When we dive deep into our inner work, we are able to live from a place of deeper balance because

4. Reassess Your Standards

Each of us currently, right now, lives like our highest standards. If we want a different experience in life or if we want to feel differently on a daily basis and strive for more balance, fulfillment, joy, and contentment, we must reassess our standards.

5. Soften Into Your Feminine Energy

Striving for feminine balance does not mean becoming weaker, it means becoming softer while keeping your feminine strength. We don’t want to be the “good girls” that masculine dominated society tries to mold us into. Instead of being the perfect, good, compliant, “pick me and I will feel worthy” desperate girl, we soften - and at the same time show up in our power - when we are the happy, fulfilled, unapologetic women who reassess and strive to create what we need in the moment - balance, harmony, fulfillment, softness, and joy.

6. Prioritize What Matters to You

Prioritizing quality over quantity rather than always needing the next “new” thing creates balance and fulfillment in our lives.

7. The Art of Slowing Down

Respecting the ART of slowing down restores our feminine essence and allows us to rest, rejuvenate, charge up our creativity, regulate our nervous system, and live a much more serene, peaceful, and not as stressful life.

  • Create a quiet, slow, and luxurious (whatever that meant to you) Morning and Evening Routine, even if you can only do this on certain days of the week

  • “If it matters, take your time” - I have found the best things in life take time to achieve and create. Balance is created when we fill our time with things that are meaningful BECAUSE they take time, effort, and allow us to release stress in the process

  • Create time in your month, week and day for tenderness, beauty, rest, and peace

8. Stop Manufacturing Stress

Stress is self-created - due to perceived perceptions and beliefs about how things are “supposed to be” or due to the expectations of others. If we stop manufacturing stress, we can choose to live in harmony and balance.

  • Harmony doesn’t mean the “pie” is cut perfectly in eight equal pieces

  • Harmony means each day can look different. A balance day does not mean an exact replica of the day before for it to be “successful” or purposeful

  • Harmony is connecting to our feminine - consider that nature is in perfect harmony at all times with other natural and feminine things

9. Connection is an Art, Not a Tactic

Connection - to your life, yourself, your friends, your partner, your children - is not a tactic. Connection, when done from a place of abundance, fullness, and contentment, is not something that requires you to over-think, over-analyze, or put in hard work and effort. True connection has an effortlessness to it. It is your natural state to create love, joy, balance, and harmony when your nervous system is regulated, and you are connected to your healthy feminine core and your healthy inner masculine energy.

10. Focus on Your Feminine Spiritual Practices

Creating balance in your life also means going inward, finding solitude, and focusing on our feminine spiritual needs and practices. Often, your feminine spirituality is deeply listening to your needs, your intuition, and your feminine wisdom, while doing spiritual practices that resonate with you and restore your sense of balance, harmony. alignment, and fulfillment.
